What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell personal information. The only data involved is:

• Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how the site is used, in aggregate. This may include your approximate location, device and browser type, pages visited, and anonymized interaction events (such as an outbound product-link click). It helps us decide what to write and fix.
• Contact form data. If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address, topic and message you submit, so we can read and reply. That message is delivered to our inbox by email; we don’t add you to any marketing list.
• Server logs. Like most websites, our host may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics may set cookies or similar identifiers to measure usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and browser-level or extension controls that block analytics will prevent this measurement without affecting your ability to read the site. We do not run advertising retargeting pixels.

Affiliate links

Some outbound product links are affiliate links. When you click one, you are taken to a retailer (usually Amazon) through a redirect that adds our affiliate tag, and the retailer’s own privacy policy and cookies then apply to your activity on their site. We use the above only to operate and improve the site and to respond to you. We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that make the site work — our analytics provider, our email provider and our hosting provider — and only as needed for those functions, or where required by law.
